Over the past five years we have developed multiple methods and publicly available products related to flood mapping.

Our team developed the Global Flood Mapper as an open source Google Earth Engine based flood mapping system which simplifies the whole process of flood mapping. The Global Flood Mapper is also documented in the water resilience related tools on the World Bank Water Data website.

In 2023 we developed fully automated flood mapping workflows that can generate flood maps at continental scale. Data for India will be released publicly soon.
